Co-founder & Therapist

I'm an integrative mental health therapist who uses talk therapy, nutrition, complimentary and alternative approaches to help my clients.

Here's who I like to work with.

I have been a practicing clinical social worker for the past 10 years and I firmly hold the belief that meeting my clients where they're at is essential to helping them improve. It's for this reason that my ideal client is someone who desires an understanding of their mental health condition, is ready to make changes, and understands that therapy is a process and they're willing to take that journey together. I work best with people who would like help with treating a range of eating problems, sleep problems, Obsessive and Compulsive Disorders, and mood disorders such as anxiety and depression. Moreover, my ideal client is someone who is ready to get to work and take what they've learned in therapy and apply it to their day-to-day life.

Background & Approach to Care

In 2014, I obtained a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Kansas' School of Social Welfare. I've worked in a variety of non-profit mental health organizations as an administrator and therapist. I am a Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional (CIMHP) who uses talk therapy, nutrition, and complimentary and alternative approaches to help my clients improve their mental health and enjoy life to a greater degree.

The foundation for my work with clients is Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) moreover, I am trained in Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprosessing (EMDR), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Cognitive Behavior Therapy Enhanced (CBT-E) for eating problems and, Cognitive Behavior Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I).

I want to recognize your decision to look for a therapist. Life doesn't always go according to plan, and asking for help isn't always the easiest thing; I've been there too. There's not one way to do therapy and that's the beauty of the process. I'm inviting you to take the next step; reach out to me today and let's see if we're a good fit.
