What you eat may negatively affect your mental health

What goes into your body intentionally or unintentionally has an impact on your mental health. You should know what the common vitamin and mineral deficiencies are and how they may affect your mental health. Furthermore, some people don't know how to evaluate their relationship with food and interpret its affect on mood and behavior. In this 10-week food & mood education group, you'll learn about these things and more.

Below you'll find the important details about this 10-week, online Food & Mood Group. If you're considering joining, you should read this information first.

Who's a good fit for this group?

This group is a psychoeducational group and as such many people would be a great fit. There are some people however, who may not be a good fit for this group.

You MAY not be a good fit if you:


  • Are already  familiar with general nutriton for mental health concepts.
  • Do not have an outpatient therapist.
  • Are not 18 years old or older.
  • Have an active or suspected eating disorder
  • And a few others...

One of our group leaders will reach out to those who've RSVP'd to complete a brief questionnaire assessing their fitness for the group.

When will these groups occur?

This group starts on Wednesday, October 19th, 2022 at 5:30 PM and lasts for 1 hour to 1.5 hours depending on the content. There are 10 sessions that occur once a week on Wednesdays over a period of 10 weeks. The final group session is on Wednesday, December 21, 2022.

Where will these groups take place?

This Food & Mood group is not an in-person although at time,  in-person groups may be avaiable. Every session occurs over Zoom and participants will recieve an email with the access link and code along with a calendar invitation to add the group to their calendar. 

How Much Does the Group Cost?

The total investment for the 10-Week, Online Food & Mood Group is $300.


Eligible participants will have the option to purchase the group in full or pay per session.


Payment is processed automatically at the end of each session and a credit/debit card is used for the transation.

How to Join the 10-Week Food & Mood Group
